Went to Redding, Ca. for the weekend, and was able to get out for a couple hours on Saturday night. The vegetation is getting pretty bad, but with a well placed cast to the open water, I was usually rewarded with a strike. Caught em all on top on a Byron's knucklehead in black and purple. Even got to taste a few awesome wild blackberries on the way out.
